Covid as an innovation enabler
2020 was a challenging year for IT consultants. As companies froze their investments, many projects came to an abrupt stop. Encouraged by our management to explore new opportunities, we soon discovered the challenges customs teams were facing.
First customer live
In October 2021, we officially launched Customaite with our first customer in Antwerp, Belgium. Back then, we operated under the name adore4customs and supported only Transit NCTS-4 declarations.
Supporting all declaration types
Following our first go-live in 2021, our team made great progress in extracting data out of complex documents such as invoices and packing lists. By August 2022, customers were also using Customaite for import and export declarations.
A new name, a new look
As our product matured and our customer base expanded internationally, it was time to professionalise our branding.
Exponential growth
February 2024 marked the beginning of what every start-up strives for – the turning point in our growth curve, the start of the reversed hockey stick.
ISO certified
We achieved ISO 27001 certification, recognising our commitment to data security and business continuity. It marked another important milestone for our team and for the customers for whom we have become business critical.
