Customaite is the trusted AI-platform for customs automation. Customs brokers, freight forwarders and logistics leaders use our self-learning platform to clear goods faster, smarter and safer: fewer errors, lower costs, audit-ready compliance, ROI in months. With strong product-market fit and rapid growth across the EU and UK (and new markets on the horizon), we're now building the marketing engine to match. That starts with you.
**The role: thinker and doer**
You'll own marketing end-to-end: strategy, positioning, pipeline and proof. One day you're shaping how the world's customs teams think about AI; the next you're shipping the campaign, tuning the funnel and reading the numbers. You'll work directly with our CEO and CCO and be the connective tissue between marketing, sales, product and customer success. Big thinking, hands-on execution; in that order, every week.
**What you’ll do**
- **Set the strategy:** Co-create the annual marketing plan tied to revenue targets; refine it quarterly on results, market shifts and sales feedback.
- **Prove what works:** Define KPIs, build reporting (HubSpot, Power BI or similar) and optimise the full funnel (awareness to MQL to SQL) with clear reporting to the CCO and management team.
- **Tell the story:** Create content that lands with executive decision-makers in logistics and customs: case studies, whitepapers, landing pages, social and video, in a consistent, confident brand voice.
- **Build pipeline:** Design nurture flows and inbound/outbound campaigns that turn attention into revenue.
- **Co-run the digital engine:** Own our HubSpot website and CMS; sharpen SEO, SEA and paid (LinkedIn, Google, programmatic); test and iterate for conversion.
- **Own field marketing:** Plan and run events, trade shows and webinars - from booking the stand to following up the leads.
- **Make it happen:** Translate strategy into actions and deadlines, orchestrate freelancers, agencies and internal stakeholders, and drive go-to-market for new features.
**Who you are**
- **5+ years in B2B SaaS marketing,** ideally in a scale-up where you built things rather than inherited them.
- **A proven pipeline-builder:** campaigns shipped, results measured, targets hit.
- **A capable project manager:** you keep freelancers, agencies and internal stakeholders aligned and on deadline.
- **A sharp writer and messenge**r, you make complex products feel simple and urgent.
- **Fluent in HubSpot;** comfortable with BI tools or eager to get there.
- Hands-on with **SEO**, **SEA** and **paid media** (LinkedIn, Google, Programmatic): you can run campaigns yourself, not just brief them out.
- You use **AI tools** daily in your own work, and can speak credibly to a market that's being reshaped by them.
- Curious about **logistics and customs**, and genuinely excited by what AI can change for the better in an industry ready for it.
- **Excellent English;** Dutch is a strong plus.
Based in **BeNe**, in Leuven on a regular basis, and flexible to travel.

UX Designer

With strong product-market fit and rapid growth across the EU and UK, we’re now looking for a UX Designer who makes that power feel effortless for the people who use it every day.
**The role: researcher and maker**
You’ll own the full loop from insight to validated design. One day you’re sitting next to a customs declarant, watching how they really work through a stack of invoices; the next you’re putting a clickable prototype in front of that same team to see if your idea holds up. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and customer success, and be the voice of our users in every product decision. Deep understanding first, testable design second; and then again.
**What you'll do**
- **Go deep with users:** Run contextual inquiries, shadowing and in-depth interviews with declarants, team leads and compliance officers at brokers, forwarders and manufacturers. Pair what you hear with the usage data we already track.
- **Map the jobs:** Uncover the jobs-to-be-done, desired outcomes and pain points behind every workflow, including the workarounds in Excel and email that nobody talks about.
- **Set the direction:** Shape the UX vision for our platform, and turn findings into job maps and opportunity analyses that help product decide what to build first, and why.
- **Prototype and test:** Translate insights into flows, wireframes and clickable prototypes for complex, data-rich screens, and test them with real users until the design holds up.
- **Design with AI, and for it:** Use AI tools to speed up your own work, from synthesising interviews to generating prototype variants. Design how users review, trust and correct what our AI proposes.
- **Ship it with engineering:** Deliver wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and final designs with clear specs, built on a design system you create and maintain. Work hand in hand with developers so designs respect the compliance rules the platform enforces.
**Who you are**
*Must-haves*
- 4+ years as a UX designer in B2B SaaS, with a portfolio where research visibly drives the design.
- A seasoned qualitative researcher: you get past what users say to what they actually do.
- Fluent in jobs-to-be-done (or a similar framework), and you can show how it shaped real product decisions.
- A fast prototyper who tests with real users, not just with colleagues.
- At home in complex software full of data, rules and exceptions.
- Able to work from our Leuven office twice a week, and happy to travel to customer sites.
- Excellent English.
*Nice-to-haves*
- Experience designing for AI-powered products, where users need to understand, trust and correct what the system proposes.
- Some front-end or data knowledge, enough to talk feasibility with engineers.
- Dutch, and a curiosity for logistics and customs.

Sales Development Representative

With strong product-market fit and rapid growth across Europe, we’re now looking for a Sales Development Representative who opens the doors to our next customers.
**The role: door-opener and conversation-starter**
You’ll be the first voice many customs teams hear from Customaite. One day you’re researching which companies in our ICP are drowning in manual declarations; the next you’re on the phone with their customs manager, turning a cold call into a first meeting. You’ll work closely with our account executives, marketing and CCO, and help shape how we go to market in new regions. We take an account-based approach: quality over quantity: smart research first, confident outreach second; and then again, every day.
**What you'll do**
- **Find the right doors:** Research and map target accounts among customs brokers, freight forwarders and manufacturers, and understand where Customaite can create real value for each.
- **Open them:** Reach out through cold calls, LinkedIn, email and other outreach tools. Turn first conversations into qualified meetings for our account executives.
- **Qualify with care:** Ask the right questions to understand a prospect’s volumes, pains and decision process, so every meeting you book is worth having.
- **Keep the pipeline clean:** Log every touchpoint in HubSpot and keep prospect data accurate and up to date.
- **Test and learn:** Work with marketing on outbound campaigns, new messaging and sequences; measure what works and share it with the team.
- **Be there in person:** Join trade shows, events and webinars to meet prospects face to face and follow up on every lead.
- **Know your stuff:** Learn our product and the customs domain well enough to explain, with confidence, why Customaite matters.
**Who you are**
*Must-haves*
- 1–2 years in an SDR, BDR or similar outbound role, ideally in B2B SaaS.
- You genuinely enjoy picking up the phone; cold calling energises you rather than drains you.
- Hands-on with LinkedIn outreach, email sequences and a CRM; HubSpot is a plus.
- A curious listener who asks good questions and gets to the real pain fast.
- Resilient: a “no” doesn’t knock you down, it sharpens your next call.
- Organised and self-driven: you manage your own pipeline and hit your targets.
- Excellent English and Dutch, in speaking and in writing.
- Able to work from our Leuven office at least once a week, and happy to travel to events and customer meetings.
*Nice-to-haves*
- French or German, to open doors in new markets.
- Experience or a network in logistics, freight forwarding or customs.
- You use AI tools daily to research accounts and personalise outreach.
You’re ambitious, coachable and accountable. You prepare well, speak with confidence and personality, and you hold a high bar for quality in everything that carries our name.
